45 Useful Ableton Synths is a collection of 243 simple and highly customizable synth patches for Ableton Live, organized into 45 separate devices containing various presets and variations.
The idea of this pack is to give you sounds that almost always work. It’s not a theme-based collection like for example modern techno, deep house or future bass.
Instead the focus lies on giving you a beautiful soft pad, a vintage bass sound, a big string ensemble or a cutting lead to give you a perfect starting point for your desired sound and to not confuse you by sounding overly complex or too specific.
You can also see it as some cost-efficient alternative to any third party synth plugin you could get. While owning all the devices and plugins already through your Ableton Live purchase you can spend your energies on making music immediately instead of learning some other new plugin and spending a lot of money. The Ableton Live synthesizers might not look as shiny as some other plugins do, but they are really powerful, and I already did the programming part for you!
A very important thing for me was to make them as musician friendly as possible. All sounds come with Macros that give you the chance to immediately add personality to your sound, and it’s also highly encouraged to use the pack for educational practices, helping you understand the workflow behind synthesizers, instrument racks, devices and Ableton Live.
Be known that you need Ableton Live 11 Suite in order to use the pack, unfortunately there is no downward compatibility.
